The College
of Social and Behavioral Science is the largest college at the University
of Utah. It includes seven departments (anthropology, economics, family
and consumer studies, geography, political science, psychology, and sociology),
the ROTC, and six special programs and centers (American West Center,
Behavioral Science and Health, Environmental Studies, Center for Public
Policy and Administration, Gender Studies, and the Hinckley Institute
of Politics). Each year, over one-third of all University of Utah undergraduate
degrees and approximately ten percent of all graduate degrees are granted
by the college.
