CSBS Intramural Grants Program

The College of Social and Behavioral Science supports three types of intramural grants: (1) travel grants that enable faculty engaged in research to make brief visits to out-of-state facilities for the purpose of data collection, collaborative data analysis, and similar research ($1000 maximum), (2) emergency grants that provide modest funding for unforeseen expenses related to funded research or proposal preparation (typically $300 maximum), and (3) proposal initiative grants (PIG) that provide time for faculty members to write a grant proposal for external, overhead-producing funding ($4000 maximum). Application deadline is typically late February or early March.
