Tom Zumbado, scholarship recipient

"I'm the first of my family to go to a university. My father worked for 35 years in a steel foundry and as a maintenance mechanic. My dad, my mom, and I, we all cried when I received the scholarship."

Honor Roll Scholarship Program

The College of Social and Behavioral Science Honor Roll Scholarship program was established in 1996 and has grown from two scholarships to over 40. The program provides annual scholarships to students with financial need who have demonstrated academic excellence

How It Works

Honor Roll Scholarships are funded with a gift or combined gifts of $3.500 and are awarded annually. Each scholarship is named for the donor or for someone the donor wishes to acknowledge.

Planned Giving

When doing your estate planning, please consider making a gift to the College of Social and Behavioral Science. Ways to give include making a bequest in your will, creating a charitable trust with the College as a beneficiary, and entering into a charitable gift annuity with the University and receive income for life while making a gift to the College.
